Eastern Primary school won the Dundee primary schools festival today 12th May at Dawson Park. Competing against schools from all over the city Eastern primary school was declared overall winners in the fair play festival. The Festival organised by Colin Whittaker rugby development officer and Dundee City council Active schools is used as a qualifying event for the national tag tournament on the 30th May held at the national stadium, Murrayfield. The National finals are held on the back pitches as the World IRB 7s season comes to an end inside stadium. The Eastern primary school team all receive tickets to the main event and will have plenty of time to catch the games in-between their own matches.


Pictured on Wednesday 4th February are Grove Academy S2 pupils in the snow after their 3rd session of an 8-week curriculum coaching block being delivered by Dundee Eagles Rugby Development Officer Colin Whittaker. Dundee Eagles Junior RugbyWho Are We?

Dundee Eagles are Dundee's newest junior rugby club for boys and girls from ALL primary or secondary schools in Dundee or the surrounding area.

We have teams from P4 through to U18's as well as our weekly training for P1-P3 age group.

We are a club within a club, the parent club being Dundee High School FP RFC. This means we enjoy the facilities, financial backing and close support of the senior team who, like us, are an 'open' club.

The Eagles also enjoy the support of other members of the Dundee rugby community including Stobswell RFC and some of the founders of the Dundee Juniors.
